Half way! Well, haf way to my 'true weight' (of 86 Kg). I'm moving at a very rapid rate, and I think I'll be at my true wight long before predicted.
Perhaps that is because I am riding my bike to school, categorising me as 'active' whereas I never considered myself active before. Dukan's opinion of me probably reflects this and think I am more sedantry. I plan to stick at the diet past that date, however. As long as my wife is also persuing the Dukan diet, I'l stick at it. It's much harder solo, I'd imagine.
I need to be careful that 93.2 kg is my actual mass right now. Afterall, it is Monday and that means spike day, but I'm still very positive.
We had an interesting weekend, as the diet goes. On Sunday at brunch, I ordered some chipolatas. I've avoided sausages mostly since starting the diet, as it is hard to know what else is in them. I thought I'd risk it, and they were tasty (not to mention, my mass went down yesterday).
On Saturday, we went to a wedding. Not a sit-down wedding, a cocktail wedding. No plates of food to exclusively eat the meat off of, just floating plates. Of vegitarian food (very little protein!). And a bar. And a candy bar! It was pute temptation.
We sat down to feed Willie at a table adorned with a plate of cupcakes. I'm pleased to report that we sat in font of this plate for over an hour and didn't succumb! We didn't eat the cheese, we didn't eat the turkish delight, we didn't eat the lollies. We had a few (admittedly) banned foods, but I think these were out of genuine hunger rather than a desire to eat something tasty. We stuck to savoury foods, and whilst we probably had more starch than necessary, we avoided most of the sweet traps.
We did succumb to one glass of bubbles each (for toasting!) and a peice of cake (it would have been rude not to!). I think overall, that's pretty acceptable. There were certainly a bunch of opportunities to do the wrong thing, and we kept is very minimal.
I don't feel too bad about those small violations either; I'm lighter than I have ever been in my professional life!
