Mass-Loss Remaining: 6.8 Kg
Phase: Attack!
I made another cake today, and I'm even more excited than last time! This one breaks a few of the rules- I used a sugar free chocolate bar (Which still has about 40% fat). THis means that we're not really consuming much sugar, but far content of this cake is still reasonably high. Oh well, the cake is recommended by the site (sans chocolate), so I'm not too worried. It should taste good for our non-Dukaning friends, too.
So I've complained about the "fully-personalised comments" before, but today my wife showed me a real corker. In addition to the clearly pre-generated nature of the "fully personalised" comments, inappropriate comments about aborigines and misspelled words (you'd hope a diet company could get 'lose' correct), today threw her right off:
Any woman, even the plainest of woman
has her little bit of beauty, even the woman who looks at herself
without feeling self-worth. In these circumstances, losing weight so
that you regain a little of the beauty that has disappeared is not a
futile undertaking but a duty.
Duty?! What is this, the 1950s? Meghs was pretty upset by this comment, and rightly so she's writing a letter of complaint as we speak; I'll be interested to read their response. I'll let you know.
I'm more-and-more of the opinion that Dukan, whilst being a great product, really needs to work on their presentation. Afterall, that's what you're paying for! The basic concept can be written in a book- the coaching, feedback and website should be a lot tighter.

We you remember, I recently discovered the 'tolerated foods list' on the train-wreck of a website that i
s Dukan. It reintroduced (low-fat) cheese, so we went and made parmigianas! They didn't have crumbs, and I forgot to take a photo post-cheesing, but they were certainly a welcome inclusion to our list of new meals!
